6 held for forging army documents to procure SIM cards for militants in north Kashmir : Police | KNO

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday claimed to have arrested six persons for allegedly forging army documents and using fake army stamps to procure SIM cards for militants. A spokesman said that they busted a module of over-ground workers using fake stamps and forged documents of various army units based in north Kashmir to obtain SIM cards. He said the module was busted after information provided by Military Intelligence, Police and 46 RR of Army. “Six accused including two proprietors of two printing presses based in Baramulla were apprehended in the case so far. This module has been operating for quite some time in Baramulla,” said the spokesman. “Further investigation into the matter is going on.”
